High variation of composition and sewages flow make keeping proper conditions for suspension’s sedimentation very difficult. Suspension which enters surface waters when it’s raining is almost twice as high as when it comes with municipal sewages! In this situation it is difficult to apply long horizontal sand traps in urban areas. To meet the challenge we offer proven Swirl Settlers. They don’t need a lot of space for their high flow. They provide successful treatment of both – low and high flows without removal of sludge. We designed the possibility of integration a sand trap with a separator. Additionally some wastes like oil and trash are removed in the second chamber of a sand trap. Thanks to concrete frames of Ecol-Unicon, it is easy and cheap to maintain the device.
